School Closure: Home Learning

As the schools are to be closed for the majority of pupils for the foreseeable future, teachers will be uploading daily activities for pupils to complete at home.

A weekly spelling rule will also be uploaded for pupils to practice. This will be explained in a powerpoint presentation. 

Pupils are still expected to practice spellings, times tables and read daily at home.

We have also set up class dojo, on online platform that pupils can access through the class dojo app. As part of their home learning packs, pupils will receive a QR code poster to enable them to access their own portfolio. Parents/carers should also receive an email inviting them to join.  Parents and pupils can also send messages to their class teacher. Please feel free to message your teacher if you have any questions/concerns. We are here to help!

The well being of you and your families is the most important thing. These activities are intended to provide your pupils with some learning opportunities but should not cause undue stress in what is a particularly uncertain time. Stay safe, stay well, stay positive.
