Learning tasks for Thursday...

Spellings: 

Rule 21: ‘cian’ or ‘ssion’ suffixes

Practise spelling words with the cian or ssion suffixes. Use slide 6 of the powerpoint for ideas of words containing these suffixes.

Read for pleasure: Spend 10-15 minutes (or more if you want) reading something for pleasure. It could be a story, poem, play, information text, comic, graphic novel or online text/kindle/e-reader. You could also read to a younger or older sibling.

English: Story writing: character creation and semi-colons

Next week, you will be asked to write a story. The work that we will be doing over the next few days is going to prepare you for your big write. The character you create today will be the main character in the story you write next week. You will also be expected to include some semi-colons in your story, so pay attention! If you need any help, please message me 😊
