Narborough Primary Academy

Tuesday 24th March

Hello everybody!

To make things easier for everyone I am going to try to make the home learning each day a little simpler. I do not want to cause any additional stress for parents or children so if for any reason you are unable to access or complete the tasks please do not worry! Instead of, or in addition to the tasks, you may choose to work through your CGP Maths and English books at a pace that suits you. Please see below for today's daily tasks:

English

Write a diary entry about your first day of home learning. Sequence the events of your day in order using time words like 'first', 'then', 'after' etc. Remember to use full stops and capital letters correctly. Year 2 try to add detail and interesting words.

Maths

Log onto the Daily 10. See if you can improve on your scores from yesterday! You can record your scores in your exercise book

The resources below are optional. They are similar to resources the children use in school. Your child watch the video, get the activity then check the answers. You may wish to print the activity off but talking through the answers is fine.

Topic

As we are going to be spending more time with our families let's see if we can find out more about them! Do you have any old family photographs you could look at? If not perhaps you have some recent ones? Can you talk about who is in your family? Who is in your immediate family? Who else is part of your family? Write down the names of the people in your family.
