Learning tasks for terrific Tuesday!

Spellings: 

Rule 21: ‘cian’ or ‘ssion’ suffixes

Practise spelling words with the cian or ssion suffixes. Use slide 6 of the powerpoint for ideas of words containing these suffixes.

Read for pleasure: Spend 10-15 minutes (or more if you want) reading something for pleasure. It could be a story, poem, play, information text, comic, graphic novel or online text/kindle/e-reader. You could also read to a younger or older sibling.

English: Reading

A short test to practice the skills learned yesterday.

Year 5 R5e Pupil questions

Confidently uses new language from their own reading experiences in their written and spoken work

Year 6 R5e Pupil questions

Can explain and justify inferences, providing evidence from the text to support reasoning
