Learning tasks for Tuesday

Spellings: 

Practice spelling words containing the ly suffix. Don't do them all at once- no more than 10. You can refer to slide 7 of the powerpoint from yesterday for some ideas.

English Reading: 

Quick questions to consolidate learning from yesterday: summarising texts. Pupil questions and accompanying answers for parents are below. You can refer back to the powerpoint from yesterday to help them if they are struggling.

English Writing: April Fools!

Write about the best prank you can think of to play on someone for April Fools day. Describe what you would do, and who you would play it on. You can also do an illustration to help describe your prank. Will you be brave enough to try it tomorrow????

Maths:

Remember: you need to think about place value. If it helps, draw your place value columns....don't do a Fred!!!
