Learning tasks for Tuesday....

Spellings: 

Use slide 6 of the powerpoint below to practice words containing the sure/ture suffixes. Remember, don’t do them all in one go- 10 is plenty.

Read for pleasure: Spend 10-15 minutes (or more if you want) reading something for pleasure. It could be a story, poem, play, information text, comic, graphic novel or online text/kindle/e-reader. You could also read to a younger or older sibling.

English: Reading

Following on from their learning yesterday, pupils complete the short test. If you struggle, you can also refer to yesterday’s powerpoint (uploaded below) to help you.

 Year 5 R5a Pupil Questions: Explains clearly how vocabulary choices affect meaning in a range of text type.

Year 6  R5b Pupil Questions: Can make developed inferences drawing on evidence from the text and wider personal experience.

Maths:
