Castle Acre Primary School

Year 6 SATs Week 8th-12th May 2017

Last week was a momentous week for our Year 6 pupils. Well done to all of them for their 'can-do' attitude, focus and positivity. All of the pupils enjoyed their breakfast which consisted of a variety of different things (toasted muffins, pancakes, croissants, nuts, fruit, yoghurt to name a few.)

On Friday we had a fantastic trip to Quasar (Laser Quest) in Norwich, followed by a picnic in the Castle grounds and a good old-fashioned game of Bulldog.

'The best bit was annoying everybody at breakfast. I tried my very best and answered the majority of questions. Quasar Laser was EPIC!' - Ebony

'I liked the pancakes in the morning - the best part was when the tests finished.' - Joseph

'My favourite bit about SATs week were the breakfasts, they were yummy! The SATs were hard but I tried my best. Quasar was brilliant.' - Briony

'My SATs tests were extremely hard, the hardest paper was the arithmetic one. Laser Quest was exhausting, fun and very tense.' - Christopher

'I found the two reasoning papers hard but I tried my best. I enjoyed the biscuits afterwards.' - Courtney

'My favourite thing about SATs week was the last test. Quasar Laser was really exciting.' - Jack

'I liked the chocolate biscuits best.' - Keelie
