Castle Acre Primary School

Young Enterprise Topic

During the first half of the Spring Term, the children have been involved in the Young Enterprise Scheme. This meant they had to create a company, develop a product or service to enable them to make a profit. They created an income and expenditure account, researched costs using the Internet, designed a flyer, created a PowerPoint which they delivered to the rest of the class promoting their product and then finally made their products ready for sale.

These are the various products and services that the children decided upon:

Car washing

Bookmarks

Lollipop cookies

Cupcakes

Lemonade

We were pleased to see the Bishop of Lynn, Lynn News and Canon Nairn who all attended our event on the 10th February 2017. The children made a profit of £174.15.
